Ettől a szállodától nincs közelebbi hotel a piramis tövében van. Rendkívüli, hogy étkezés közben látod a piramist. Az étterem a 3. szinten van ami nyitott, amikor mi voltunk este 9 fok volt, mondhatni fáztunk. Az első vacsoránk érdekes volt, mert senki nem kérdezte mit szeretnénk, aztán rájöttünk, hogy az asztalon van egy Qr kód, rajta a menü. Négyen voltunk, de nagy sokára lett kész a vacsora, amit mire kihoztak jéghideg volt minden este. A fiúk kedvesek voltak, így elnéztük. Egyébként minden nagyon finom volt. Azért egy tea elkészítése is feladja a leckét, minimum fél órát vártunk rá, utána két nap nem sikerült kihozni. My husband and I booked here and when we arrived they did not have our room available. They were pressuring us to get in a car so they could drive us to their other hotel which was a 10 minute drive away, further than we would have wanted to stay. When we asked if we could take a minute to decide if we would stay or book elsewhere, they got very impatient and were trying to push us into staying at their other hotel. Eventually, they offered us a refund but when we asked for it they wanted us to cancel it on Booking- which if you are unfamiliar, means we would be charged for canceling. We explained this to the worker and he said he would send us an email with a cancellation link so we wouldn’t be charged. We waited for 20 minutes and reminded him, another 20 minutes and nothing. Finally, my husband said he would contact Booking to cancel for us and that’s when the worker finally refunded us cash. The communication was very good and they ensured a fairly seamless check-in after a long and exhausting day of travel from South Africa, arriving at 1:20am! An airport transfer at that time ensured a traffic-less one hour drive to the hotel. The double rooms we had were of good size, but I would recommend booking a deluxe double, since you are then guaranteed of hot water and good plug points. The rooms have a tea and coffee facility with a bar fridge which is convenient. The breakfast offered is hearty and there is an onsite restaurant which is open until 11:30pm The staff are very helpful in assisting with travel and tour arrangements. The rooms can be a bit noisy. The location of the hotel is exceptional, as you can see the Cheops pyramid directly from the room windows. The staff always strives to fulfill all wishes and gives guests a good sense of security due to the permanent presence in the entrance area. You're just finishing up the charm of the old villa and we're sure this will work well. Absolute recommendation! We arrived later in the evening and both the airport transfer arranged by the hotel and a dinner at night were handled perfectly by the staff. The location of the hotel is exceptional because you can look directly at the Great Pyramid from the room windows. The staff always tries to fulfill all wishes and gives guests a good feeling of security by constantly being present in the entrance area. They are currently in the process of further enhancing the charm of the old villa and we are sure that this will work well. We only stayed a day in this hotel because our plane was late in the night and we had a really good time. They allowed us to check out very early (like 9 AM) and helped us arrange a trip to the pyramids. The room is very clean and the view is amazing. The downstairs garden with pool table and ping pong. The smiley staff. However, the location is significantly problematic as drivers have difficultly finding it, and some simply give up. We almost missed our Nile dinner cruise because the driver couldn't find us. There is nothing outside the hotel worth going out for - no nearby shops or walks, nothing to see other than scruffy, complex residential streets. There is sight of Khufu's pyramid, though it is a little behind a rocky escarpment which is not that attractive. But, to be fair, it is there. Communication with owner Mohammed was problematic. Requests and questions were often ignored, and responses when pushed were slow and sometimes simply wrong. For example - we needed breakfast at 7am, and when asked, Mohammed said that breakfast was from 7am to 11am. On arrival the manager said that breakfast at 7am was not possible - that breakfast was from 8am. We'd requested a vegetarian evening meal on arrival, but the manager was unaware of this, and it took some pushing to get him to phone Mohammed to make arrangements so we could have margherita pizza delivered. Mohammed said he'd arrange a driver to pick us up at the airport. I had asked how the driver would make himself known to us. And, after much delay and reminders, he sent us a picture of the driver. There was no driver at the airport, and attempts to contact the driver continually failed. Thankfully an official at the airport assisted us. Contacting Mohammed and arranging for a driver (a different one) to pick us up. There was no aircon, no seatbelts, and the door had no handle. To be fair, this turned out to be fairly typical of Egypt taxis. The advantage of using the hotel taxi is that the driver knows where the hotel is, but you may have a problem being picked up. After that experience we always used Uber, who were much more reliable, and very cheap (usually journey cost was under £1 sterling - an Uber to the airport at the end of our holiday was £3.50 with tip and reservation fee). On the whole, despite the problems, we enjoyed our stay, and fellow guests were very happy.Posted on TripadvisorVerified Fantastic find..amazing view. Amazing views, helpful attentive staff, quiet location. Spotlessly clean. Only downside was that we had booked 4 beds and only three were made up. The two sofa beds, when they were made up, were SO uncomfortable! But it's cheap and you get what you pay for. We were really happy with the place. My kids loved the cats everywhere but I could have done without being woken up by cats screaming in the night!
